History of Resurrection Catholic School

The Resurrection Catholic School, formerly Pagkabuhay Parochial School, was established in 1983. The school’s founders were Rev. Fr. Rolando C. Petronio, Mrs. Corazon S. Almario and Dr. Filemon B. Llegado. They founded Resurrection Catholic School as an educational institution dedicated to the development to the development of the Catholic Filipino Children.

When the school started operation in June of the same year, it finally offered Nursery, Kinder, and Prep. Gradually, it expanded to elementary from Grade 1 to Grade VI. As the institution increased its population and in response to the steady growth, the new Board of Trustees led by most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, DD (Chairman of the Board), Rev. Fr. Albert N. Delvo (Superintendent- Director) and Mr. Robert I. Agtarap has closely worked together in ensuring that facilities are improved, instruction is enhanced and most competent, dedicated and committed teachers and staff get hired.

Resurrection Catholic School has established its reputation as a quality educational institution in the vicinity of Novaliches. The growth of Resurrection Catholic School reflects the development taking place within the surrounding communities and located at the hub of several residential areas, townhouses and subdivisions, RCS is blessed with pleasant surroundings.

Resurrection Catholic School hopes to continue the improvement of its services and imbue in its students the importance of extending the values learned in school to our society. On the 8th of October, 2010, the construction of a new building involving 16.5 million in cost commenced and was inaugurated last February 8, 2011.
